What it is
A water line re-route replaces a failing supply line under a concrete slab without chasing the old pipe through the foundation. We abandon the damaged run and route a new copper or PEX line along a serviceable path through walls, ceilings, an attic, or a carefully opened section of slab, then reconnect the affected fixtures and pressure-test the complete run.

Before & After
See the Transformation

BeforeAfterWhen you need it
- A confirmed hot or cold water leak under the concrete slab
- Recurring slab leaks or widespread corrosion on the original copper supply lines
- Low pressure, warm floor spots, unexplained water use, or moisture appearing near the foundation
What's required
We first identify the failing run and determine where it starts and ends. We need access to the home's main shut-off, the affected fixtures, and the best new path for the line. Depending on the layout, that path may run through a wall, ceiling, attic, or a controlled opening in the slab. We protect the work area, make only the access openings included in the written bid, and test the new line before closing up.

Our Process
- 1Confirm the leaking supply run and map a practical new route that avoids the failing under-slab line.
- 2Provide a written project bid covering the new copper or PEX run, connections, access, and testing.
- 3Isolate and abandon the damaged line, install and secure the new route, reconnect fixtures, then pressure-test and inspect every joint.
Why Us
Our owner-led San Antonio crew handles the plumbing and access work together, so the new route is planned around your home instead of cut in wherever it is easiest. We bid the complete re-route before work starts — not by the hour — and back our labor and parts. If we touched it and it leaks, we come back.
Pricing Notes
Water line re-route cost in San Antonio depends on the length of the run, whether copper or PEX is selected, the number of fixture connections, and the access path through walls, ceilings, attic, or slab. We inspect the layout and give you a written project price before opening anything.
Warranty
All plumbing labor and parts are fully warrantied. If something we touched fails, we come back and fix it.
